Dear FCIA Members,

We are pleased to share that FCIA is moving full steam ahead. As Interim President, I look forward to reimagining what we are capable of as an organization when we come together. As evidenced by the recent member survey results, 86% of members voted to move forward. So now, we call on you to join us in what’s next.  

We have launched a Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds to immediately bridge the financial gap and get us securely through to the end of the year.  Looking ahead, we will need your support with pledges, company sponsorships, and member renewals.  

Coming up around the corner, I look forward to seeing many of you out in Seattle at the Northwest Chocolate Festival Oct 5-6th.  We’re delighted to share a 50% discount coupon for the Chocolate Alliance UnConference Oct 3-4th. Email us at info@finechocolateindustry.org to get a discount code.  

FCIA will also announce a fundraiser adjacent to the Salon du Chocolat (Nov 8-10 in NYC), graciously to be hosted by Kahkow / Rizek Essentials in New Jersey. We need your support and engagement to make this a success. Details will follow.  The expected event date is Nov 7th. 

Later in November, we will host board elections and plan to move forward with an updated strategic direction incorporating everyone’s feedback. With motivation to propel this organization forward, we can ensure it works best for all involved.  We are all here because we care about chocolate, so thank you in advance for your vote of confidence in seeing a fine chocolate organization like ours take flight.  On behalf of the FCIA Board, I invite you to join us in making this work. We can’t do this alone.
